Up until recently, I was the senior editor (online) for Minnesota Public Radio, but I've been moved to a writing position. I'm hosting a new blog at MPR called "News Cuts: A fresh look at today's news." It debuts later this month. I've been at MPR for more than 15 years. I'm originally from Massachusetts and my heart remains there. I'm an aging baby boomer whose children have recently left the nest.
I write the blog Stirrings from the Empty Nest, and Letters from Flyover Country. I'm a private pilot and am currently building an RV-7A airplane in the garage.
